DEAF MINISTRY Since its beginning over 20 years ago, the Deaf Ministry of WAF has seen exciting growth. Today, it continues to be a blessing to this church body. The mission for this ministry is to be prepared to meet the special needs of deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf-blind individuals. These needs are met through American Sign Language, tactile interpreting, and assistive listening devices. The following are aspects of this ministry: • Bible Classes - Adult Bible Class is provided on Sunday mornings at 9 AM Home Bible Studies are also available. • Social Events - offered to satisfy the spiritual need for fellowship with other Christians by providing an atmosphere filled with fun, food, and sharing. • HFG Ministry – There is a special Home Friendship Group designed to minister to the deaf community. |
