What We Believe

That the Bible is the inspired Word of God, written as the Spirit of God moved upon men of old.  Since it is supernaturally inspired, it is inerrant in the original manuscripts and has been preserved by God through history, so that it is the divinely authoritative standard for every age and life.

In the singularity of the Godhead:  that is, God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself.  God was One in creation, being the "father" of all; One in redemption, taking on human flesh, being the "son" or only flesh God will ever have; and God has sent His spirit, the "Holy Spirit" to be the comforter until He returns.

That God spoke the universe into existence as accounted in Genesis and that creation was by divine decree.

That God Himself came to earth in a body called "Jesus" and died for fallen man.  His life, death, and subsequent resurrection are recorded in the Gospels - namely, the books of Matthew through John.
That salvation is clearly outlined in Acts, "the book of salvation."

Repentance, baptism in Jesus' Name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost are the criteria for initial membership in "the Church" of Jesus Christ. "The Church" is the group of believers in the Acts 2:38 message.

That it is the goal of every Christian to grow into spiritual maturity.  The Epistles, Romans through Revelation, are written as guidelines for Christian living and duty.

That worship is mandated by Scripture.
