Since its beginning over two decades ago, the Deaf Ministry of WAF has seen exciting growth.  The mission for this ministry is to be prepared to meet the special needs of deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf-blind individuals.  These needs are met through American Sign Language, tactile interpreting, and assistive listening devices. 

 

Sunday Services at 10 AM and 6:30 PM are interpreted for the deaf and hard of hearing.

 

The Deaf Ministry conducts weekly Home Fellowship Groups and is one of the fastest growing ministries of WAF.

 

WAF  has an active prison ministry at the local county detention facility for both men and women.  Ministering in this setting continues to be rewarding as lives are changed and people are baptized. 

The focus of our Outreach ministry is to reach the unchurched in our community.  We want to always be reaching out to bring them into the knowledge of who Jesus Christ is, and to let them know that we are here to help them in any way we can in their pursuit of a relationship with Jesus Christ.
